Gap between 6 and 8 goals

Step by step solution

01

Step 1. Given information.

2016 U.S. Women's Soccer Championship Previously, we looked at data on the number of goals scored by the 2016 US women's soccer team in 20 games.

02

Step 2. The shape of the distribution.

We can see that the distribution is skewed to the right because the peak in the dotplot is to the left of the graph, with a tail of fewer dots to the right.

We can see that the distribution has a single peak at 1 goal, and there is also a gap between 6 and 8 goals.

Right skewed

Single peak at 1 goal

Gap between 6 and 8 goals
