There are four types of data:
1. Quantitative data refers to the information whose value is represented in counted or digits, with each data set having a unique numerical value.
2. Qualitative data is factual and conceptual data gathered through questionnaires, conversations, or observation. Analyzing qualitative data allows us to study concepts and better explain quantitative results.
3. Discrete data is a count based on an integer with a finite number of possible values. This type of information cannot be broken down into smaller chunks.
4. Continuous data: Continuous data are data that can acquire any value. Continuous data includes things like height, weight, temperature, and length.
