The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award 1987 is the title of the nationwide quality prize presented by the United States Congress. An annual prize granted by the Commerce division to organizations who succeed in quality.
Also gaining prominence during the period was the demand that providers show that they were monitoring as well as recording their quality methods by predetermined standards, known as ISO standards, in strategies to succeed in international agreements. The honor is the greatest award granted for outstanding accomplishment.
The award is offered in six groups are the manufacturing industry, industries of support, small enterprise, education sector, healthcare sector, non-profit companies
The seven criterion types are leadership, planning, clients, measuring, analyzing, as well as managing knowledge, workforce, operations as well as results.
