Chapter 14: Q14.3-2CC. (page 283)
If a man with type AB blood marries a woman with type O, what blood types would you expect in their children? What fraction would you expect of each type?
Short Answer
If a man with type AB blood marries a woman with type O, the children will have blood types A and B. Each blood type will be a fraction of ยฝ. This is because โAโ and โBโ alleles are dominant alleles on โOโ. So O allele will not show its effect in heterozygous conditions.
