Hydra can reproduce asexually by budding and fragmentation. During budding an outgrowth is formed called as bud which develops into an adult and detached from the main body once get maturity. During fragmentation, the body divides into two parts with subsequent regeneration.

Diploid-dominant:a life-cycle type in which the multicellular diploid stage is prevalent.
d. Bacteria undergoing binary fission
Bacterial binary fission is the process that bacteria use to carry out cell division. Binary fission is similar in concept to the mitosis that happens in multicellular organisms.
